Hi everyone! Since youve made it to my website, you probably already know my name is Sumeet Sahni. I am currently live in San Francisco, CA. with my fianc and our obnoxiously affectionate pitbull, Lala. She pretty much runs our household.
Growing up Indian, first generation in America, my parents never emphasized the importance of playing sports or exercising in general. Instead, they encouraged me to focus on getting straight As and push myself mentally, never physically. When I was 13 years old I stepped foot into the weight room at the local gym for the first time and my fell in love. I had no idea what in the world I was doing, but I was intrigued by all of the equipment and endless possibilities. I began lifting and even learning more about nutrition. Then I graduated high school and went to college. With college also came alcohol & parties, copious amount of junk food, and very little sleep.
I might have been getting my B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science, but let be honest, I spent the next 4 years living the college lifestyle. I was partying hard, eating everything and anything I wanted, and was going to the gym a total of maybe 1 time every 2 months. After graduating, I decided to travel and work abroad, in South Korea (I know, super random!). While I was there, my boyfriend (now fianc) decided to sign up for a bodybuilding competition! I was completely intrigued, but my lifestyle was SO bad while abroad. I was literally drinking every single night (soju, beer, wine, you name it), eating everything and anything, and honestly, was very unhappy with who I was, on the inside and outside. I remember hitting rock bottom one afternoon when I woke up hung over at 3 pm with an empty box of fried chicken on my left side and an empty jar of nutella on my right side. I was grossed out by who I had become and the amount of disrespect I had for my health and body.
I quickly started researching what competition categories there were for females and came across the Bikini division. The girls were looked so fit, but sexy at the same time! It was literally what I always wanted to look like. That moment I decided that I would sign up, begin working with a coach online, and compete! I went from soft and skinny at 125 lbs to lean and fit at 107 lbs. Now over the years I have been focusing on gaining muscle and curves and have gained over 30 lbs of lean mass! Im currently at 140 lbs and still trying to improve every day. After I moved back home and saw how much my body was transforming, I wanted to help others.
I began personal training at a gym in San Francisco and helped transform close to 100 people in 2 years, while also competing 4 times and making it to the National Level.
In 2014 I began working online, so I could reach more individuals and have now helped over 700 people online! Ive worked with everyone, 100+ lbs overweight women, skinny men trying to gain muscle, fit women trying to gain curves, and men stepping into the gym after years.
Over the years, I have been sharing my own fitness journey on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Snap Chat. I am so thankful and bless to be able to reach and work with so many amazing individuals from around the world. Through fitness I have gained physical and mental strength, confidence in myself, and an understanding of how important it is to fuel your body so it can perform its best. My passion is sharing that knowledge with anyone who wants to get healthier, get stronger and become confident in her own skin!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I look forward to working with you!
